The Dimlux Xtreme Series LED is a highly advanced horticultural LED grow light that offers a range of features and benefits to help indoor growers achieve high yields of high-quality crops. Available in 1000w, 750w, and 500w models, this LED light uses the latest PhytoVegSpec® spectrum and output power to provide the ideal spectrum for the different stages of a plant's life cycle.

One of the standout features of the Dimlux Xtreme Series LED is its high photon output, which is achieved by using top bin emitters and high voltage drivers to deliver extremely high light levels. The 500w Xtreme model, for example, can reach over 2000ppfd in the center at 1ft. This translates to an impressive output of 2.7μmol per watt in the traditional 400-700nm range and 2.9umol per watt in the 350-800nm range. In terms of total output of PPF, the magic number for comparison against other LED manufacturers is 3035umol/s.

The Dimlux Xtreme Series LED also features secondary optics in the form of hard, high-penetration lenses that better direct and intensify the light downwards, improving light penetration and ensuring that the light is spread evenly over a 1.5×1.5 m grow area. These lenses can be wiped clean and are less likely to degrade over time than other LEDs on the market.

Another key feature of the Dimlux Xtreme Series LED is its use of Near Infra Red (NIR) light, which has been shown in recent studies to significantly increase the photosynthetic rate when combined with red light. The NIR version of the LED combines red and NIR light, while the non-NIR version will have a separate NIR add-on available for purchase. The tilted bars of the LED provide a balance between light penetration and uniformity, and the patented Ultra high transmittance lens helps to reflect light rays that would otherwise be converted back into heat.

Additional features of the Dimlux Xtreme Series LED include a Doppler radar proximity sensor that provides a green work light when it detects the presence of a person in the room, firmware updates that can be accessed from a laptop linked via wifi to the LED, and a digital plant temperature camera that can detect and alert growers to hot or cold conditions.

LED (Light Emitting Diode) lighting is a popular type of lighting used in hydroponics. They are known for their energy efficiency, long lifespan, and ability to produce a high-quality light that is ideal for plant growth.

LED lights produce a specific light spectrum that can be tailored to the needs of different plants and stages of growth. They are available in a range of wattages, from 50 watts to 1000 watts or more, making them suitable for different types of plants and growing conditions.

One of the advantages of LED lights is that they are highly efficient, which means they can save growers money on their electricity bills. They also produce less heat than other types of lighting, which means they can be placed closer to plants without burning them. LED lights have a long lifespan and require less maintenance than other types of lighting.

LED lights are a popular choice for hydroponic growers who want a high-quality light that is energy-efficient and customizable. They are suitable for all stages of plant growth, including vegetative and flowering stages. They can be used in a range of hydroponic setups, from small-scale grow tents to large commercial facilities.

Grow lights are essential for the successful cultivation of your plants. They allow you to grow plants in environments where there is not enough natural light, such as in greenhouses and indoor spaces. Depending on the needs of your plants, it's important to use the right type of light. The three most popular types include Light Emitting Diode (LED), High Pressure Sodium (HPS) and Metal Halide (MH) bulbs. You can use these grow lights with a wide variety of plant types, including herbs and flowers.
