Combining the extracts and silicon of several plants, combined with spore elements and enzymes, you get a product that boosts plants’ natural defenses to help protect from mould problems and make plants healthier overall – giving you better yields.

Spray2Grow Thrips is a powerful foliar spray concentrate that actually provides the benefits of a biostimulant, working to improve plant performance throughout the growth cycle. This is achieved by activating genes in plants that enable them to produce growth substances quickly, improving plant health and growing rate, and helping plants fight off diseases and pests.

When diluted at the recommended rate of 50ml per Litre, a 500ml bottle of Spray2Grow Mildew makes up 10 Litres of spray solution.

Insect control is an important aspect of hydroponic gardening, as pests can quickly infest and damage crops in the absence of natural predators. There are several methods of insect control that can be used in hydroponics, including physical barriers, biological controls, and chemical treatments.

Biological controls involve introducing natural predators or parasites into the growing area to control insect populations. For example, ladybugs can be introduced to control aphids, or parasitic wasps can be used to control whiteflies. This method is effective and environmentally friendly, but may require some expertise to implement correctly.

Chemical treatments involve the use of pesticides or insecticides to control insect populations. While effective, this method should be used with caution in hydroponics, as it can have negative impacts on plant health and the environment.

At Prestwich Hydroponics we only stock the highest quality powder and liquid plant feeds available. household names like Athena, Canna & Mills. We also stock products that tackle pests, moulds and other grow room problems.

It is important to receive the correct amounts of nutrients for your plants. Each nutrient has different functions, e.g. nitrogen is needed for stem growth and leaf production, while phosphorus is essential for root health. Plants need all three major plant nutrients - nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus - in order to grow at their best. Using high-quality plant nutrients will help you achieve unrivalled harvests..
