The DLI Joule Series 1000w HPS Light is the latest in HID lighting technology for optimal plant performance, packaged in an aesthetically pleasing design. This grow fixture is perfect for illuminating a 1.2 x 1.8m footprint at 90cm and produces a rectangular footprint, making it ideal for growers who require a more targeted lighting solution. The wide-angle reflector efficiently dissipates heat, allowing the fixture to be placed closer to the canopy, and includes a clever 'chimney effect' to move hot air away from the reflector and keep the fixture clean.

The onboard electronics convert the incoming power supply of 120v - 240v to 400v, producing more photons per second than traditional HID lighting. The unit produces an impressive 2100 umols per second, demonstrating its high efficiency for achieving high-quality yields of fruit. The fixture includes DLI's 1000w DE Horticultural Plus HPS Lamp, which has been specifically designed for horticulture and enhanced with blues and reds to encourage proliferate growth through all stages.

The fixture is shipped with the #Flowersonly reflector, providing uniform distribution of heat and light, making it a great standalone lighting option for indoor growing. For growers using multiple fixtures, DLI has designed an 'Asymmetric reflector' that provides higher efficiencies of the light produced as less light is lost to walls.

The DLI Joule 1000w lighting fixture includes a pre-fitted lamp and ballast, a wide-angle reflector, a 1000w 400v lamp, a 5m power cable with IEC connector, a pair of DLI gloves, two eyelet screws, two RJ12 cables (1.2m and 3.6m) for connecting to the controller, and a splitter for daisy-chaining multiple fixtures together. The fixture can be dimmed using 600W - 750W - 825W - 1000W - 1150W settings and has a power factor of ≥ 0.98.

Using the DLI 1000w 400v grow light is straightforward - simply plug it in and start growing. It can be used with a contactor or the DLM-4 Zone Controller for ultimate control. When using multiple fixtures in medium to large spaces, the reflectors at the end closest to the walls should be swapped to an asymmetrical reflector to increase efficiency through less light being lost to walls. For the ultimate in quality, use in conjunction with a DLI CRI-Series fixture.
