Athena Balance is a high quality and simple formula of highly concentrated potassium silicate. This unique composition solves a common problem with irrigation water, being too high in sodium, which prevents plants from absorbing the nutrients they need to grow and produce. By buffering the water it restores the natural balance your plants needs.

Athena Balance is a potent mineral buffer. Adding balance to the reservoir will increase fertilizer efficiency and provide a steady pH range in your nutrient solution. RO and other filtered water tend to have unstable chemical structures that can trap other nutrients when added without a buffer. Athena Balance will add just enough to the water to create a more homogenous fertilizer solution and reduce the need to pH adjust after mixing.

Calibration solutions are used to calibrate nutrient meters, which are devices that measure the nutrient levels in hydroponic systems. Calibration solutions are typically used to calibrate pH meters and electrical conductivity (EC) meters. pH meters should be calibrated with pH buffer solutions that have a known pH value of 4.01, 7.01, and 10.01. EC meters should be calibrated with a standard conductivity solution that has a known electrical conductivity value. Calibration solutions ensure that the nutrient meter is providing accurate readings and that growers can rely on the data to make informed decisions about their hydroponic systems. It's important to calibrate nutrient meters regularly to ensure accurate readings, and calibration solutions should be replaced periodically to ensure that they remain effective.

It is important to receive the correct amounts of nutrients for your plants. Each nutrient has different functions, e.g. nitrogen is needed for stem growth and leaf production, while phosphorus is essential for root health. Plants need all three major plant nutrients - nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus - in order to grow at their best. Using high-quality plant nutrients will help you achieve unrivalled harvests..
